Looking to buy VU SS ute. General Questions

Hey guys my car (vy sedan) was written off the other day from the hail in perth and im looking for a new car.

I have my eyes keenly set on a VU SS Ute.

Just wondering what kind of litres/100km you get and how far off a tank? (both city and country)

Also what are some of the best mods for fuel economy? ive heard a tune and ss induction are both good starting points.

and is it worth adding an LPG system? (its manual)

if your worried about fuel, dont get a v8!

hey i got a vx ss pretty much the same i get about 290-380 ks through adelaide hills and about 700-800 open road that manual aswell as but as said in last post if your worried about fuell dont get a v8 and i wouldnt put it on gas lol

Yep. Steer well clear of the SS if your worried about fuel at all. If you love the look but not the fuel econ of the VU SS, buy a 3.8L VU and put an SS kit on it. I used to own onen of them and they are quite good on fuel, yet still quite punchy and responsive for a 6
