Any ideas as to why my VY Commodore looses battery charge overnight. I replaced the battery & haven't had a problem for a few months but again the problem has surfaced if I leave car sitting for more than 8 hours won't start.

dropped cell probably.

either way, severe parasitic drain or cooked battery.

what's the age of the battery?

Just solved the same problem with my VY on the weekend....Mine turned out to be the radio was causing the battery to be drained overnight...
I pulled the fuse and had no problems this morning starting the car...Will see how thing go throughout the week... :)

The radio has 2 fuses...1 is a 7.5 amp fuse which is located in the centre bank of fuses and the other is 15 amp, which is located in the far right side of the fuse box, when looking straight ahead...I removed the 15 amp fuse....
