Ahhh I thought I had struck gold.... It looks like the US use fair bit different electrical systems, the 91-93 Bonneville which has a similar manifold to the VR Buick, when I was looking at trying to make an M62 fit, has a lot of different sensors. They have a MAF, the TPS is totally different, they even have an EGR. I think it's easier to just by locally and replace as frequently as necessary.... I do have a mate who has bought me some gen parts at a decent price I might see if he can see if he can get me a price on a TPS if it's still available.
Did you see the US L27 has a 2-piece inlet manifold where the AU L27 retained the 1 piece. Did you check any earlier models with the LN3 engine ?

Just checked 1988 & 1990 engine and they have different electricals to mine as well. Everything I mentioned above the Buicks have in the US Buick 1988 through to at least 1994. 1990 and earlier don't make mention of SC M62 in the parts list where as later models do. Unfortunately unless you have a direct import from the States they are quite a bit different to what we get in Australia it would seem.

These things are quite plentyful.

I have found two ACDelco part numbers for this.

Interestingly on Summit Racing website: "Replaced the tps on my fast BBC mpfi set up causing me issues for over a year but was intermittent so hard to trace. This tps was a direct replacement and seams to be better quality than the fast tps with a cheaper price"

It's the range we need to be testing and that will require some voltage readings.
Can I suggest, if it is the TPS maybe the underlying factor here is heat. As the TPS heats up with the engine, the fault appears. So won't take long after starting to happen, and hence why you never seem to go far. Over the year, you could well be dipping into the same couple of faulty batches of Delphi TPS'.

AC Delco have 213-895 and 213-896

The part in the Chinese box is a CAS. I think mine is faulty. An ACDelco TPS sounds like the go. I just need the right one Eco and Buick look the same but are not interchangeable.

That must be the difference in the two part numbers.

This guy is all about NOT changing parts until a problem is fixed.

Might be helpful?

I'm not patient enough or skilled enough for fault finding, it does my head in, too much thinking for a hobby. I will leave it to the techs, while I do easier stuff, like painting and bolt-off and bolt-ons. Lol
