No, no disrespect taken. It was good for him it was quick. I was just getting to know him as we didn't see him a lot and now. Goes to show it can happen to anyone and we don't always get to know our end is near.

My dad passed away very suddenly and I was deeply saddened but later drew some comfort in that he didn’t suffer in the way another relative did. Then I felt guilty for feeling that way..

At the end of the day, we’ll all leave this mortal coil. Me, I want to go in like Sir Billy Snedden did. He was a hard working politician all his life and was remembered for dying on the job :p

(The young forum members may not understand the reference so here it is :p )

And as more recently opined by the Hilltop Hoods....."I want to exit how I entered......between some legs."

Went to fit my bumper grills tonight, after going to Rare Spares and Nuts & Bolts to buy the hardware needed. Went to put them on and the screw clips that Rare Spares sell don't fit VR grills. I found two in my lugs jar but I am two short. I have no idea where to buy them now I need black ones and Rare Spares only have zinc plated ones that don't fit.
Anyone know if Autobarn sell these clips or maybe SCA? I don't know what they are called so can't look at SCA or Autobarn online.

Is this what your after? If so, they are called speed nuts. Autobarne & sca have them. They come in different sizes too.

Thanks Lex, speed nuts. I searched screw clips and some weird thing came up on the SCA site.

I might try Nuts & Bolts again tomorrow, now I know the correct name. I only bought screws off them today because Rare Spares didn't have any to suit the clips I bought.
