tweak the tps. when you undo the screws it will move a little bit in the screw holes. Move it opposite of what it has now. Also, when you removed the TPS did you check the small plastic sleeve was still over the end of the butterfly shaft?

Will give it a go. I'm tipping it's a faulty part. Had a lot of trouble with Delphi sensors over the last few years.

Pulled the TB back off and had another look at TPS and position. I didn't worry about trying to adjust it's position. I'm going to swap TPS for a. new one and go from there. I have replaced the TPS on the ute four or five times and honestly I think the issue is a faulty part. Of four or more new TPS this is the first one I have had that has shifted through all the gears yet won't kick back to second, when flooring it. Every other failed TPS has given me jerky shifts and eventually limp mode.

May have figured out the TPS problem. I noticed just now when the ute wouldn't start. I swapped DFI and still no go. Pulled TPS plug and two of the cables have broken plastic. I did a quick tape up and after a min or so it started. I need to search eBay now and see if a plug and short lead is available, otherwise it's an auto electrician job and they won't be back for another two weeks.

Nope, unfortunately eBay doesn't list one. It will need to be given to an auto electrician.

Best looking ute to be seen on any flatbed
Hope you get it sorted and start to see some reliability with your toy

It's becoming quite annoying. I had a good run for over a year and now it doesn't seem to go anymore than a month without it breaking down.
