update all fixed, I ended up re arranging the flow direction and went back through the radiator rather than bypassing it this is what I did as follows
1. trans line feed-top radiator-bottom radiator-top cooler-bottom cooler-return trans
2. added a 7' thermo fan fixed to the 14' trans cooler pushing air
3.. installed new gauge with needle.
4..changed from ATF DEX3-penrite semi synthetic.
had tested at auto electrical for diagnosis trans everything working fine no codes and trans temp sits under 98'c.
