The fuel pressure regulator is located to the rear of your engine bay on the left hand side, it's connected to the end of the fuel rail.
hmmmm :bang: So you are saying if the F.P.R is stuffed i have to repace the fuel rail as well as it is all one peace..
The FPR can be replaced. That part on the fuel rail has the regulator inside, so you can pull that apart and get the regulator out.
Please explain as it looks to me that FPR is all one peace i dont understand how you could get it apart ..thanks
Sorry, I didn't mean it sound as though it was one piece. I just used the fuel rail as a guide to where it was. And to get it off, first, reduce the fuel system pressure and disconnect your negative battery terminal. Then, remove your engine cover, then take off the fuel rail. Next, remove the snap ring thingy that that holds the FPR to the fuel rail, then you have to sorta twist the FPR to get it off.
Oh, and cover then end of your fuel rail where you took the FPR off, just with a bit off sticky tape or something, just to stop and dirt or crap getting in there while you have the FPR off.
hmmm On a vt the fuel line and F.P.R are one they dont come apart no screws no o rings no nuts if you take fuel rail off the FPR comes with it i know on the vn it comes apart but not on the vts..
I think the regulator is inside that metal housing, once you remove the snap ring, it should just come out of the housing.
do you have any other reasons why i have trouble starting my car in the mornings or sitting all night we have the fuel pressure valve any others,,please.
