When you say cycle reset does that mean everytime you turn it of and on it resets?

Clear codes by disconnecting battery for a few minutes or some have said you can remove the ecu fuse.

lt could be a computer service cycle or a key cycle but all lm certain is when l had a dtc l disconected power and changed the part then reconected. After 2-3000km l noticed it had cleared. Another issue l created leaving the airbox sensor and maff disconected then started the car that created a dtc and took the car to my auto elec and it was cleared on a tech 2 scan as l new l created it. He suggested to leave the first issue l mentioned to be certain everything was functioning as per required.

Cheers woteva ill give it a go,
In terms of the problems i was having changing the cas fixed the problem of no power over 4k rpm, while i was there found one of the knock sensors was unplugged and the plug was just dangling down, couldn't have helped..

and backfiring and the stalling and sudden loss of power was due to a split wire earthing out under the dash drivers side footwell area

Now thats all sorted shes runnen better then ever, thanks for the help everyone
