    vu ss ute
    Hay fellas,
I own a vu ss ute and it has developed a clunk on the front drivers side that can also be felt through the steering wheel. The clunk happens when i drive over any bumps. The front struts are new and i have checked the top strut retaining nut and the one underneath both were tight and all front end rubbers seem ok.I cant seem to find the problem anyone have any suggestions?

yeah i had this problem a few weeks ago and it turns out it was just link pin bushes, its a very deceiving sound it feels and sounds really brutal when it happens but it only turned out to be something small, hope this is the same in your case.
i first looked at the bushes and they seemed okay but what i didn't know was i was actually missing two at the top. they must of worn out so much that they fell out.
