just give it a good rev for 10 seconds but hold it steady, one thing though, do it when the cars upto running temp. don't know about 70mm TB, i had one bored butthe butterfly they made was crap, made another myself but i didn't get taht quiet right either, it runs ok but it sticks a little when the throttle is closed. it was good for motorway driving, seemed to be using less throttle but it sucks when i do short stop start trips so i put my old one back on with a few mods to that. i've smoothed out the lip where the throttle body has been bored, knife edged the butterfly and thinned the shaft, all these mods probably only make a difference though when at WOT. you could always get the V8 throttle body, i hear they are only about $60 overthere and its 65mm Vs the V6 which is 60mm. the 70mm TB would be benificial ifyou get head work, bigger cam etc but i would suggest, a CAI with a sectioned off POD filter, headers, 2.5" exhaust and a retune first. theirs no end to what you can do, it depends on how much moola yo uwanna spend. possibly a LSD diff as these commy's have good lowdown torque and need a bit of grip
i must be ranting again:ranting:
