Low'd lexus springs fit a vs?

i've got a mate who has a lexus is300 that he had lowered 2 1/2 inches, he has now had it returned to standard height (long story) and has offered me his lowered springs... his car's standard height is that of a VS, does anyone konw if they'd fit? and if so would i have to adjust anything else?
