Tried searching for this answer but couldn't find anything on this topic...Do any of you run a cooler thermostat in the V6 Alloytech LY7? I was thinking since it's an aluminum block, lower coolant temps could only help keeping the engine cool which equals more horsepower. I've run a 180 degree F thermostat in both of my previous cars. From what I can find the stock LY7 thermostat opens full at 65 degrees C or 203 degrees F. What is the stocker rated at and wonder if it is even worth doing? Thanks!
