and should i put an exhaust on for bit more sound or a tip? and will it affect my engine??

My understanding is.. If you want to lower a car... you have to get a wheel balance/alignment after
Exhaust should help your engine... having a exhaust tip wont do anything apart from look good..

yes you can put the springs in without doing anything else but if the shocks and struts are original then they may need replacing (just lowered mine last week and the car had done 191,000km on the original spring and needed replacing badly which i did)

as for the exhaust all it will do is give it a tiny bit more power and make it louder and if your car is a auto then i would recommend a tip because it will reduce the drone that a larger exhaust causes
