Just looking at booking in my 07 VZ ute for a lowering, not sure what to get and what is best in terms of needing a camber kit or not. I have spoken to people with similar utes that have put king springs super lows at the front and super super lows at the back and have said they didn't need a chamber kit. Just wondering on some other peoples experiences and recommendations to have a level sill and nice low look.

    Cheers.

Got a quote on 450 for springs super low front and super super low back. However this is the second time i came back to this shop and this time they say i need struts replaced as well which will make it 900. However this was not mentioned the first time. Are they just trying to scum some more money?
    Thanks

In my sedan I just swapped factory springs for lowered ones im also using BMW springs in the rear as they sit alot lower than the king spring sssls. Shops recommend shorter travel shocks when going realy low in the rear other wise you tend to loose springs when jacking it up but with super super lows you should be fine..

my ute has pedders sports ryder front and back which is roughly equivalent to king springs super lows, and i have factory shocks and struts front and rear

im looking at going to SSL in the rear and if i do i will get lowered shocks to suit but that should be all thats needed

it might help to look at GSL rallysport, a sponsor at the top of this forum, and see what they say about going lower
