Yep not many around but only in the manual. It is 195Kw with the high output. The same engine and gearbox that the same year Sv6 had hence why i ended up getting it. The only real difference is the looks hence why im lowering it and changing wheels.
I went for the Omega and realised it's like buying a cheap Chinese iPhone knock off. Got rid of it quick smart.
Just not a fan. Felt cheap. The Series I Omega had a horrible head unit, weak motor, the dodgy traction control and the timing chain issues all made it not worth the trouble. May as well spend an extra few thousand to get the bodykit, engine upgrades, head unit upgrades, rims and all that cool stuff that come with an SV6 or an SS.
What engine upgrades? My omega has the same engine and 6speed manual as the sv6 has. And i can easlily chuck on some better wheels and bodykit. Makes it unique being an omega.
this issue was on ALL 2006 to mid 2007 V6's; omega, berlina, SV6, Calais, Statemans (and I think they made V6 Caprice in '06-07?) me? I like me Omega and a lower mortgage...but that's just me horses for courses nb: this thread may be heading off course, sorry Jazzas202, supposed to be about lowering your ute
Will stock springs from an SS ute (V8) lower my VE omega ute much as i can get some cheap? I assume they would be FE2 and are lower than standard omegas?
