Im looking to lower my VS SI Commo front & rear, probably about two inches at the rear and either the same or 1.5 inches at the front
im gonna replace my rear shock absorbers at the same time, as they are worn
can anyone recommend any particular type of shock absorber??
i am able to get monroe shocks cheap through a mate, so if its sumthing in the monroe range that would help...
thanks :thumbsup:

i'm getting my car lowered tomorrow:w00t: they are fitting KYB. i heard they are meant to be pretty good. i guess it depends on how much you want to spend??? KYB also do an adjustable shock called AGX?? i think that the name? they come in at about 260 each though. has like 8 dial settings so you can dial in your stiffness.

hi
i am new to the vr ,but past cars (geminis, vb vh vl)
the best are koni adjustables by far
compared to monroe pedders gabriel(?) and bilstien
but it comes down to cost, bottom range konis are @400 front
@200 rear (early commies)
if you can get monroes cheap
do it they are a good all round replacement
