VS Commodore Ute
Hey everyone, was just wondering what suspension set up everyone is running as I am wanting to lower my Ute. I would like a nice clean hight not to low as I don’t want to scrap to much or loose a lot of ride quality. Photos would be highly appreciated cheers
I will attach a photo of my old girl

Go Lovells, Sports low I think they call them. Stay away from the popular cheap Kings. VS ute is a harsh ride from factory and you don't want to make it worse by fitting inferior springs.

I would go coilovers. If you just want to retain standard shocks don't lower as it will handle like arse without at least sports shocks.

You can get a good set of coilovers for about 2k which is not much over a full set of aprings and shocks.

My VS I used Pedders springs in the rear with 10mm spacers and big bore lowered shocks in the front I made my own custom coilovers using the old pedders coilover bodies with Koni shocks.
Dont ever use Koni over Bilstien as Bills are the best. But the guys up in QLD that make the coilovers I believe they're BCA? Have good shocks.

I've got cheapy kybs in mine with Lovells springs and air bag load assist in the rear.

It sounds like you're on a budget , I'd be going these and if they're too soft just add some assist bags.

Do you know how much it lowers the car and is the super lows or sports low lower?

Super low is another inch lower. I've got super low. It's parked up out the back I'll go get you a half okay picture I CBF moving it and it's next to another Ute with a CBR between it.
