    Hey guys,
As u may know lpg vapour systems reduce power from the engine even when running on petrol due to the mixer restricting airflow to the engine.

Was just wondering I there was a way I could remove the mixer and some how plug up the tubes that run to it and disconnect the log button in the car so no one ever pushes it. And the always run the car on petrol. Of course I would have to switch the intake tubing to the standard type.

This way when I go to sell the car I can just plug it all back in and run log again?

    Is it possible?
Or is there an upgraded vapor ring with less restriction?

    Thanks.

It really isn't that expensive to get a licensed LPG shop to rip out the old system. Then you can sell it on ebay for whatever price to make up the difference.

    I want to
Leave the tank in incase I ever want to use it again.

I just learned you can shut off the tank from the actual tank at the back with an isolation screw thingy.

So my question now is, can I isolate tank then take out mixer, plug pipes ( stop dirt getting in them) and put a standard rubber intake tube and run it? Is the computer programmed dif or with it work fine that way?

Not sure with a VT but with mine I just ripped all the lpg stuff and pulled the mixer out. Yet to have any issues.

Yeah tank is still in for now. Little bit of throttle pick up but nothing too dramatic surprisingly. I took the LPG off mine cause it was costing me all of 20 dollars more for fuel per fortnight

I pulled the LPG system out of my VS, was very easy. I took it to en electrician to remove all the wiring for the LPG, and lucky I did because they couldn't start the car afterwards, took them over 2 hours to find out why the engine wouldn't fire up.

Also, I understand what you car saying about the mixer restricting air flow, but my VS used to have plenty of power when running it on petrol. So I couldn't imagine a big power loss with the mixer connected.
