Just want to start by saying that this system i'm referring too isn't on a commodore, its a a mitsubishi 380. but i'm unsure of where else to ask, and didn't think the car model too overly important. the switch, which has being working fine, now when the car is warm seems to make the switch play up. on petrol, the green light that indicates lpg is on will come on but be orange and the green level indicator lights flash and carry on, along with the orange light, and switching to lpg it will start doing the same thing. at the time it started playing up it was on gas, and i had 2 lights green so as far as i know its not empty. after stopping the car and restarting it seems to make it act normal for a little bit.

Sounds like the switch or one of the control relays is making intermittent contact. Can you hear the tank solenoid ticking on and off?
