- VX Exec Manual
So yes this is another V6 to LS swap post but hear me out before screaming "Buy an SS"
My reasons for doing it.
1. I want to do up another project car but I've already done up a VY/VZ Body so I want to do up a VX with a Clubby Bodykit but I CAN'T STAND VT/VX Interiors. My car is a 2001 VX V6 Executive Factory Manual but a few months ago, me and a mate gutted a 2004 VY Spac manual and used all of its interior, looms and computers to convert my VX Interior to a VY Spac interior. so its perfect for what I want and to be honest, I'd rather spend the money and effort to an an engine swap than to have to do an interior conversion again.
2. I've recently lost my licence for 13 months so I want something to do while i don't have it. Kinda like a "Welcome back" present for when I get my licence back.
3. I want to do it for some fun, then I can say I did it myself.
Anyway, I'm just gonna go to the auctions and buy a written off VY SS Manual to do the swap and I'm just curious to know if the VY SS Engine loom will plug into the VY Spac body loom? or will I have to swap the body loom too?
