I did mine a few weeks ago, a real pain. I had to remove the fans, loosen the power steering pump and remove the idler pulley assembly near the alternator. It was very difficult to disconnect the electrical plug and earth cable, there is no room to do any thing. I think there were three bolts at the front and one at the rear. Disconnect the battery first and remove the belt of course. The one at the rear was also difficult. It's the sort of job you would pay someone to do if you could afford it.

I did it all from the top I think, you can't really access anything from the bottom, to many things in the way. Small hands help.

when ya do it its a good time to upgrade the wire going from the battery to the alternator (4 or 0 gauge). i thought my alternator was stuffed but once i got it out it was the wires at the back that were fried. not hard to do if ya want more room to do it just pull the radiator out. goood luck mate
