Probably, but have you tried anything else? Last time you replaced the fluid?

Have you checked for fault codes, check the fluid level.

Could be TPS or shift solenoid, neither of which require a gearbox replacement.

no I haven't don neither how do I find out fault codes

Take to a mechanic or Supercheap auto and ask them for a computer scan.

Throttle position sensor is located on the throttle body and the shift solenoid is inside the transmission.

Instead of wasting a pineapple on a scan just have your transmission serviced, a good flush and filter will do wounders.
TPS or MAF maybe your issue.
Add to note transmission to test fluid level warm it up then get out on level ground while car in park pull the stick it should be on the hot mark. Oh it could be a stuck valve too, like I said get it serviced before you have to pay a few monkeys to have it repaired.
