Hey guys, done a lot of research but to no avail to find some specific information I'm after.
First of all, my catch can setup is a vented type, with 2 lines coming from the rocker covers to a catch can with a breather, and capped off the throttle body to rocker cover line fresh air source, this eliminates oil in the intake completely, and provides sufficient ventilation for the crankcase.
My question though is: since I'm not using a vacuum source to evacuate the crankcase vapors, how long should services be done? As in how long does running the pcv system this way deteriorate the oil? I usually service it 10k max, but is that service life pushing the boundaries of the oil life or will it be fine?
Thanks guys
