for a stock engine a cat wont do crap all, when u go spending thosands on internals etc... tune , edit whats $300 buks any way.

Just want to add this. Any decent tuner that fits headers wont reccoended keeping standard cats, they will either tell you to fit high perf cats or open up your oldies. Otherwise IT IS a waste of time.

next change will be some Valve springs for safty after these have done 150,000k's

Get a set of CompCams 918's, or 915's if you do not want to put additional pressure on your lobes and push rods.

Also should look at replacing the push rods with some quality 7.4" rods.

the pipes that Join the Cat onto Both Extractors and the Rest of exhaust either side are only 2.1/4 inch. They Cut them off and Weld New bigger Pipes either Side thus removing the Bottle Neck effect.
