ls1 injectors ona 304??

OK, so I spotted a cheap set of LS1 injectors and thought they would fit my 5L, so I bought them.

All smiles so far :yeah:

get them home rip off the fuel rail and measure up the injectors, physically they are the same length and the same diameter ends. but the clips I got with the injectors (clearly for LS1 fuel rail) will not hold them in the 5L fuel rail.

My question is this, does anyone on here run LS1 injectors on their 304 and if so can you get new clips to suit or are you running a different fuel rail??
