ls1 knock.. please help.. same as my other thread but though i would do it again

    had this noise, (thought it was lifters) so i bit the bullet and changed the lifters. while i was there i did a small cam,new double row timing chain,bigger value springs, new value seats/retainers. and a few other bits.
    but now back together i have same noise.
    only when has warmed up
    and so loud, dont think it comes across in video
    bend rod, over looked rocker ? got no idea now

    If it only happens when engine is cold, and dissapears after driving (engine hot), it is just normal ls1 piston slap and nothing to worry about. My car does same, it is noisy on startup and becomes whisper quiet during driving.

    as above if it only happens cold,then you can hardly here it once warm,don't worry.
    my ls1 has been doing it for 6 years lol

    What oil u using? Try a 10w 60 castrol edge or 15w50 nulon street and track. Both have made my engine
    Very quiet....Or could be a manifold or exhaust leak?

    its not piston slap noise. its top end noise. don't think it oil pressure. took off the oil cap and watch oil being thrown everywhere. i just replaced all gaskets including manifold and exhaust, both looked fine. exhaust brand new.
    i think i put in 10w40. it shouldn't make that much of a difference. oil might mask the noise for a while but it is clear that something is wrong.
    there is a thousand ls1s with same noise on youtube, all said it was lifter noise. changed them and it went away.... everyone besides me
