I prefer OE with leads.

Fair call but couldn’t find any at a reasonable price.

I will go with AC Delco plugs for that reason.

I suppose that there is no harm in replacing the OEM leads with aftermarket leads.

The layout of the LS V8 with eight seperate ignition coils located very close to it’s corresponding spark plug, with equal length, and very short HT leads (and no bunching or ‘looming’ of the HT leads), makes me wonder if aftermarket leads will make much difference?

I suspect that with careful routing, the LS would run fine with coat hanger wire for ignition leads!

In the years I've used Xpro I've never found a need for heat shields even with boost and stainless 4-1's. Whatever they make the boots out of is incredibly robust stuff

As always with GM ENGINES Stick to genuine (Ac delco) with the metal sleeve on the spark plug side.
