Hi guyes just wondering if it is worth spending the cost to buy a 85mm/90mm throttle body for my ls1 ? its got all the bolt ons such as exhaust headders and soon a OTR CAI.

Unless you get the manifold ported there is really no point, other than wank factor . I have a 85mm on my ls1 with the stock ls6 manifold didn't do didlly squat, Just looks the goods. So if you can justify $300+ just for looks go for it.
EDIT: I see you have a vt ss they have a even more restrictive manifold than the ls6 on the vx so really not worth it.

yeah straight swap mate bolt on bolt off.
    but...
if you get a 85mm throttle body it will still do ****. think of it like a bottleneck.
you will need to match it to an 85mm manifold to see gains.
if your going to do it go a fast 92mm manifold and throttle body combo, but id recommend doing a head/cam package and a OTR first!
