Hey so needing some opinions about puting 317 heads and l98 piston heads and rods in my ls1.

ATM just looking at putting a vcm 13 cam, have many people used this if so with what combination of supporting mods and what power, and than looking at force induction when money is saved.

Please post opinions and also experiences!

I thought the bore on the L98 was different to the LS1. Happy to be wrong!

L98 has a 4 inch bore ls1 has a 3.9 inch bore so pistons can't be interchanged

Also I think although not 100% sure heads have to be on a engine with a 4 inch bore also

From my understanding the VCM13 wouldn't be a good cam to use with forced induction as the narrow LSA of the VCM13 would bleed off boost pressure.
Most cams I have seen that are recommended for boost have at least a 114 or 115LSA or wider.
