VF Series 1 SS ute
I've just gone and broken my lifters for a second time in my 2013 VF SS ute. It's at the mechanic at the moment and I'm looking at getting a new oil pump so it can keep up and actually get enough oil to my lifters.
I can't remember my cam specs but wanting to see what brand/type of high flow oil pump people are using on a cammed Ls2?

Cheers

A 2013 VF SS Ute didn't come with an LS2

If it's an L77 a high volume Mellings might do the trick though best to speak to your mechanic as oil flow may not be the problem.

100% it does mate, 2013 series 1 runs a ls2, only VF to have the 6.0L.
So any input into the actual question?

The LS2 was only in the HSV's before the LS3 and it was never in a VF Holden SS

If you don't know what engine you are running you're better off speaking to your mechanic.

Did the mechanic say it was an oil problem or have you found that info through Google or a mate?

VEGTS BUILT BLOWN E85
the factory pump can more then handle it so many upgrade the pump without actually needing too and if u have AFM u already have a high volume pump, lifters shouldnt just fail like that id say something alse is going on

As was posted above, the LS2 was only used in the VZ and early VE HSV's, such as the following vehicles:
2005-2006 Holden Special Vehicles Clubsport (VZ Series)
2005-2006 Holden Special Vehicles Senator (VZ Series)
2005-2006 Holden Special Vehicles Coupé4 AWD (VZ Series)
2005-2006 Holden Special Vehicles Avalanche XUV AWD (VZ Series)
2005-2006 Holden Special Vehicles SV6000 (VZ Series)
2005-2006 Holden Special Vehicles Maloo (VZ Series)
2005-2006 Holden Special Vehicles Coupé GTO (VZ Series)
2005-2008 Holden Special Vehicles Clubsport R8 (VZ Series, VE Series)
2005-2008 Holden Special Vehicles Grange (VZ Series, VE Series)
2005-2008 Holden Special Vehicles Maloo R8 (VZ Series, VE Series)

In regards to the actual question, I'd be taking the advice offered above...……...
If you don't know what engine is in your car, you're better off speaking to the mechanic doing the repairs
