LS3 Oil Leak and OTR back to dealer

I had the loose oil filter issue aswell after a dealer service. After the first 2 services it never went back unless warranty issues.

Imagine the owners who don’t look under their cars who wouldn’t notice it loosening and over 15k km the thing would fall off and dump all its oil.

We all know dealer techs doing oil changes are often pimple faced apprentices so leaky filters aren’t rare DIY oil changes are often done with more care and insight since they are done by people who enjoy working on their cars where commercial pressures aren’t involved
