Hi, first post

I recently got a vx ss ls1 and I'm looking to see if it's possible to install a stock
1. ls9 camshaft
2. Ls9 valve springs
3.ls9 head gaskets
I've seen ls1's in America use this combo but I'm unsure if there are any issues due to my engine being Australian.
I'm assuming it will fit as long as the cam gear is a 3bolt type. My goals are to make a low boost budget friendly setup.
Final question anyone running a budget friendly 3000ish stall converter. How much did you pay and were you happy with it?

Thanks
DatLs

There won't be any reason you can't use international LS parts, there won't be any difference between overseas and australian blocks. Can't comment generation to generation of LS though.

The LS9 has a different bore size so I really doubt the head gaskets would work though.

hope ur going PD blower with the LS9 cam otherwise it will not work well, budget and boost (or really midifying vehicles) dont go too well in the long run
