Hey I’m wanting to put an lsd in my vx v6 was just wondering what ratio I’ll need and if there anything I should know before doing it? Any help would be much appreciated.

Depending upon the Model, Auto, Manual, Std V6 or Super6, can mean different ratio's
There should be a label on the drivers side of the existing DIFF indicating the Ratio,
eg: my Super6 was a 3:07:1, and replaced the single spinner, with the same ratio for a LSD.
If you can not read the ratio, take note or a photo of the label, and if you can read the Diff Part Number, key the Diff part number into Google, and it should tell you the ratio.
The LSD changes the characteristics of a car, especially with and wet roads, and traction control,
Had to learn the handling of the car again.

Are you wanting to replace like for like? You could get a v8 manual diff which has a 3.46 ratio and get better pickup
