LSX or ERL blocks?

Hey,

Just wanted to see if anyone has any knowledge or first hand experience in an LSX 454 or LS2 ERL 454 Stroker. General info really plus the folllowing.

Couldnt find anything on search unless i just wasnt searching right!

Worried about weight on the LSX and width and height/bonnet clearance of the ERL Block as it's a taller block. This would be with maybe a harrop 2300.

I would start off with the larger bore block and cast iron- LSX, SirNemesis' has a lsx block he'll probably chime in sometime but maybe you could ask him the weight of his lsx http://forums.justcommodores.com.au/vt-vx-vu-wh-v2/126051-my-6l-cammed-manual-wh2-9.html,
