    thanks guys
the carpet was fairly easy i got it from witworths it's marine carpet, cost me a bit but im sure you can find similar stuff for cheaper some where else, as for putting it into my ute i just used the old stuff as a template cut out all the shapes and holes for things to fit through and then got some double sided tape and hot glue and stuck it in, also pulled out the plastic interior parts so that i could over hang and then be hidden behind the plastic pillars and such. hope that helps.

They look damn good. What did you polish them with?

I'm thinking they might look better just like that rather than all polished. Not sure.

Edit: Sorry just saw what you used in the other thread lol

    Look's the goods mate.
I don't think it would suit a darker colour ute, but it looks **** hot against the white.

thanks mate, easy as to polish i did it with 120 grit to get rid of the old paint (i didn't have any paint stripper and couldn't be stuffed to buy some) then i hit it with 280-400-1200 and then on the buffing wheel on the grinder. if you do it with paint stripper you can go straight to 400.

so today i decided that my windscreen wipers were looking pretty sad so i pulled them off stripped them back and sanded the rough parts then hit it with a silver. i had never seen silver ones so i thought i give it ago, the finish turend out really good and the colour doesn't look half bad. if i get sick of the silver i can easily just go over them with the old satin black.

thanks guys. Drawnnite i used some VHT metallic silver engine paint, it works well on all the parts we have painted on the monaro so i thought i would use it for wipers.
