G'day guys I'm new to this forum. This is my first car, 2002 VY Calais series 1. Purchased back in October last year with 100,000kms on it. Really happy with the purchase. Since then I have done some minor mods, basically getting rid of the granny spec stuff. One day I would like to carry out an LS1 conversion, I'm one of those people who can't rid of their first car.

Current
Suspension: Munroe gt sports shocks with King spring super lows
Brakes: standard
Engine: stock ecotec 3.8
Exhaust: stock

Future:
Ve series 1 wheels 18inch
Pacemaker extractors, new cat back system with high flow cat
Ss inductions growler kit
Slotted Roters with new brake pads
Auto box shift kit
Genuine holden LSD
Maybe an ls1 conversion... See how we go

Looks good mate, I've got a delft blue VY myself. Was thinking of buying some VE SS rims and painting them black after seeing yours, looks heaps clean. The only thing I would do different is throw some SSLs in the rear.

Cheers mate. The delft blue is an immaculate colour for a vy. I purchased these including tyres for $450. Got the wheels machined for $200 at Morton and Mays in Narallen. Club VE on Facebook has some good deals on wheels. Yeah personally I'm not a fan of having the rear lower than the front but everyone is different. If you have a berlina or calais have a look at some VZ Calais tail lights.

Nah only a Lumina sadly. Wish she was a Calais. I've had it for 2 years haven't really done much to it just looked after her and put a good sound system in, want to lower it and put rims on it now and drive it till I get my fulls.

Looking at a set of VE SS rims tomorrow, predrilled and he only wants $250 for them but the thread isn't that great, but that's okay I'll sell mine and replace the tyres.

Looks Mint. How does it handle speed humps? I'm wanting to lower my exec but go over them everyday :s Sick of it looking like a monster truck with the stock set up.
