LY7 MY9.5 Manifold Insulators

I bought a 12mm insulator based on a byline which mentioned the MY09.5 VE SV6 was incompatible with any larger spacer due to water hose interference. Unless something has gone dreadfully awry, I've found after installing it that I've got about 30mm until I hit anything. The water hoses which were referenced are on the driver side and are completely clear of the manifold.

Based on what I see, I could have installed a 25mm spacer and still had about 15mm of slack space. Not complaining at all, more wondering if I haven't understood something?

Oh, btw - thanks for sending out the replacement bolt. Torque wrench misadventure...
