Mace products in the past were always very good I wonder what happened?
that is what has confused me, i’ve got a good 5 different parts already installed and running on my car from mace and have loved em, i’ve made this post as i’ve never heard of this happening with one of maces tunes and wanted to see if anyone else has.

not to sure if this makes a difference or not but the ecu i already had and the one they sent me have different codes on them. The stock one has DSZT and the new one from mace has DTCF. i’m not to sure about the electrical side of the car that’s why i’m asking on here.

I had a mace tune done for my VY Acclaim 9 years ago because i bought a larger throttle body and it requires shift points to be adjusted and the cars ran beautifully since and I've since sold the car last year. So little surprised to hear about the issues

I hate to say it but Mace have dropped the ball over the last while. I have heard a few complaints about their tunes. They used to be good but not lately I'm afraid.

Apparently they’ve changed the supplier of their tunes

Their tunes have gone to **** in the past couple of years.

So far nobody I've spoken to thats got a tune from them recently has worked first time so far.

They've had to send them back, get refunds etc.

Half the times I've heard of them sending the completely wrong part for the vehicle (aka the wrong memcals or ECU etc).

The parts are great and I'll use them again (CAI etc) but the tunes I wouldn't touch with a 10 foot pole these days.

BTW telling you to put 98 in to fix an issue like that is an absolute cop out, it should idle and drive fine driving normally on 91 even if it's tuned for 98, you'd only notice if you started getting some pinging up through the rev range etc.
