Hey guys i was thinking about purchasing the following for my little ecotec:

COLD AIR INTAKE MANIFOLD INSULATOR 25MM FOR HOLDEN VS-VY ECO
    PERFORMANCE 12mm PLENUM/MANIFOLD SPACER! Holden V6 VS-VY
BORED OUT AND POLISHED 69MM THROTTLE BODY! For Holden VS-VY
COLD AIR INTAKE TO SUIT HOLDEN VT-VY V6

Just wondering with all these mods combined what sort of power gains would i be looking at?
The only engine mods so far are a sports exhaust and K&N Panel filter

    Cheers

Might get a few kws but mostly just loads better drivability, throttle response etc. Manifold insulator made a huge difference for me.... would definitely recommend one.

Few kilowatts. You rather save your money for roller rockers can get good performance out of them.
The only thing from that list i would consider is the manifold insulator.

I had all of them plus yella tera 1.98.1 high ratio rockers and a tune to suit and it used to go pretty well for a 6

As said above, all of that combined = the price of high ratio rockers. Go them (AND MAKE SURE YOU GET THE OPTIONAL PUSH RODS AS VY'S NEED SHORTER ONES!).

Rockers will make a big difference.

    thanks for the info guys
I purchased the plenum spacer and some polished rocker covers (which apparently arent in stock atm but itll be worth the wait :D) from the mace site.
If i can feel any difference in the cars performance ill get the manifold spacer and the throttle body then see how we go from there.

Dude the polished rocker cover cost $250 from mace.
You were better of getting the manifold spacer which cost $100 less. well the 12mm one any way.
Also the roller rockers 1.9:1 cost $495
But its your car do what ever you want just a thought.
If you want more air in the combustion chamber start thinking about how can you open the valves for a longer period of time and how much lift. eg cam, roller rockers to a degree will do this.
