Hey all,
Just wondering if anyone has bought one of these and what your thoughts are?

HOLDEN RECALIBRATED COMPUTER/PCM TO SUIT VU-VX V6
HOLDEN RECALIBRATED COMPUTER/PCM TO SUIT VU-VX V6 - Mace Engineering Group

I've been considering it but would love to hear some opinions?
I currently have a 2001 VX with CIA, and 2.5 Catback (which both apparently effect the PCM Tune)
but since I'm not all that AutoTech-Savvy... well you know what I'm a getting at.

Id love to hear your thoughts before I purchase :)

Your standard pcm will cope with those mods you have done. Only real benefit would be the shift patterns if it's auto. If you were to go larger throttle body and higher ratio rockers the mace tune would better benefit you and maybe net you 5 extra rear wheel kw.

Thanks for the feedback!
I'm takin a trip up to QLD next month and on top of that i average around 60-70km a day in driving so i was hoping maybe the improved fuel econ would be sufficient enough difference to go ahead and get it. Still unsure if i really want to invest too much more on my car as its over 300,000K already....

Although i did just get my tax back.. so thoughts on buying this AND a bored throttle body from MACE?
Would this likely result in significant gains for an auto?
