mafless tune for v6

hey all im stumped wat is the mafless tune and wat does it do and also can it be done on a v6

not exactly sure what is but mechanic told me expect around 5% power increase on 3.8

mafless tune uses a map sensor instead (mass air pressure) of a maf that measures the flow of air
The sensor just hooks up to a vacuum line and is tuned accordingly vn-vr v6 all ran map sensors its the little black box on passanger side firewall if you look
and yes can be done to ecotechs as well .
the tuning software isn't ready for alloytech just yet
