Just wanted to double check I'm reading this right. I've got the Gilmer belt upgrade on my Maggie charger. Which has done under 4000ks but almost 3 years old. So before I drive it to bathurst I want to at least get a spare belt.
On the belt it says bestorq 600-8M 0811.
Now I've gathered that 600 is the length. 8M is the type/pitch of the teeth. When looking online they also mention the width. Usually 600-8M 20, 30 or 50. I've measured mine and it's a 30.
So would I be right in ordering a belt of any brand at 600-8M 30?? Or does 0811 mean anything? I'm guessing it just the batch number for 8th month of 2011
