Mags for VE 2008

If they are a set of a vy or vz then NO they won't because the wheel hubs on the VE are smaller than previous models

 

And you wouldn't put vy wheels on a ve anyway

 

No mate, as above, the wheel hub on the VY is larger than the VE.

 

Unless they are 16s ? I don't think 16s fit over the ss brakes ?

 

He didn't say they were the stock SV6 wheels, they"re most likely aftermarket...but agreed the 17's that come standard on the VZ SV6 would look ghastly on a VE.

To the OP, the wheels won't fit but you can get them machined/modified to fit VE if they are off earlier models...probably better off just finding a different set though.

...Also 2003 and SV6 don't work in the same sentance, late-02 the VY came in and through till late -04 it was around, SV6 model replaced the S pack models from the VY but did not come in until late 2004 in the VZ.

 

The hub is smaller on the VE so to fit earlier model wheels he will need centering rings, not machining, to be fitted on a VE.

If you wish to fit VE wheels onto an earlier model Commodore then you machine the wheel to fit the larger hub.

 

Yeah I wasn't 100% on what needed to be done that's why I put /modified, I know to go from VE older they need to be bored out.
