19 seconds??? Hah! I got that beat.
My first car was a 1953 Austin A-30...it would "run" the quarter in something like 27 seconds!
As opposed to my old 265 hemi 4-speed Charger I owned twenty years ago with which I used to regularly trounce V8's...as long as they let us have a rolling start, because it would simply fry the tyres for the first 1/8th otherwise....
Or then again there was my 1976 Sunbird, "powered" by the black Opel motor and traumatic auto gearbox...it would do something embarressing like a 20 second quarter...
Often wondered what my wifes little 1973 KE20 Corolla coupe would do on a dyno...probably stall when any load was applied, the gutless little wonder...
