Just looking at making a cruise control patch loom from scratch. Has anyone done this yet?

I found an 93 VR Executive the other week with the factory looms patched in so I grabbed it in a flash. :) So now I'm looking at making some up and collecting the required plugs.

Only thing is I had to cut 3 wires under the dash - but once I find where they went to I should be all systems go on it. (I've had heaps of requests for them over the past few years.

for a vr v6 if it has a low level bcm it will not have the latching relay for the cruise on/off. But rather than change bcm or stuff around fitting a separate latch relay you have the option of not using any relay and simply leaving the cruise always powered on (that is the green CRS light on dash is always on) and stalk on/off lower part does not work. This does not cause any other problems and brake switches and upper stalk switches set/resume work as normal.

(my notes say 12V from F10 to Cruise Main Power - all under dash but a bit vague now many years later)

I'll do photos of the factory type plugs needed and do a little bit of a write up on where to get them from.

Just need a week or so to clear the bench and other small jobs hanging over me. :)
