How can they have been 'on course' when the two paths on that map divert halfway across Poland ?

When someone dies in a Commodore do you issue the same warning?

I imagine if 300 people died in a single commodore there might be some warnings issued

so if your boss said to you go half way over the west gate bridge as fast as your car can go and turn a sharp left would you do it if there was no road .
They are the pilots and its there call to make the right decision as they new the dangers entering a war zone, the pilots had the duty of care for 295 lives, and no one can force you its your choice , its your life they could easily said no way and change to a safer route around the danger zone , they are the ones with the control in there hands not the control towers.

the pilot chose that path , so that means pilot era .

The pilot wouldn't have had a lot (read none what so ever) say over the route he took except in the instance of an emergency.

If you plan to fly over a country that in war your flirting with danger , passenger plan or not , It was stated tonight the U.S kept clear of that area so why didn't the Ma airlines do the same. Most other airlines avoided that flight path and diverted around it.

Most others is not correct although certainly some did and IMO that was the prudent thing to do. On that point we agree.

I would like to no is did any other Ma pilots fly that route lately. Or was he the only cowboy , we will never no and the black box info will never be herd .

The answer to that is: all of them. Commercial airline pilots have zero input into the route they fly except in the instance of unforeseen issues that crop up mid flight (eg a major storm that closes the airport of destination that happens en route. The pilot wouldn't have been a "cowboy" and establishing that is quite easy weather the black box is found or not

Sure it's a big earth but there are 80,000 (avg) commercial jet aircraft occupying that space every 24 hours. That diversion is sweet stuff all for a 200 tonne hunk of steel hurtling along at Mach .8, 10-12 clicks up, traveling over 9,000 kms.

black box is in the hands of the ones who shot it down.

We know the hardware used to bring it down. This is a case where FDR and CVR aren't really needed. Everything was sweet til the aircraft got vapourised with no warning, in the blink of an eye. If the pilots made a course correction of their own volition the flight plan will show it and the control towers will have recorded data. We just won't know what their reasoning was.

they will cover it up the best way they can like they do.

we all know one thing it was shot down by a missile from Russia .
