Well I got my hands on some VF Maloo seats which came out of a 1400km old write off.

Extremely easy to install but why the hell did Holden move to hex bolts for the VF because that was unexpected and annoying.

I think overall appearance makes the ute look even better now

What was cost if you dont mind me asking?
And is the passenger seat electric? If so, how did you go wiring it up?

Nice looking.

How do these relate to MSE seats, slightly bigger bolsters but anything more?

Top devise in your pic looks to be dashcam but what’s the lower device?

Top is dash cam and VS 5.0 is correct the below is a radar detector ;)

The seats themselves I find are very comfy, the extra bolstering really holds you in the seat a lot better than the standard redline seats.
I picked them up for $1800 plus $500 shipping from Sydney. Still worked out cheaper than anything found in WA.

As for electrics they are just plug & play with the wiring harness however only the drivers has electric anything and as per the utes manual sliding back & forth.

Thought the lower device was a radar detector but i’m just not use to seeing them in our nanny state where they are illegal. Myself, I always throught radar detectors could be used for good purposes by the police, at an accident, where they can set up radar so people get ample warning and slow down and pay attention ... but our nanny state lives off speeding income so such thinking doesn’t fly.

Anyway, the seats do look nice.
Do they have seat warmers/coolers and are all utes limited to manual seat slide, why would that be?

No seat warming or cooling functions, as far as I'm aware that was only really an option in Calais V and Caprice models.
Ute's get manual sliders because peopled used to constantly try push them further back than there was space available and were burning out the motors.
As in seat angled back because they wanna sir "gansta" like but then feet to close so try to move it back and the headrest gets pushed up against the back of the cabin and well yeah.

That's what a now retired HSV salesman told me.
