Hi I have been looking into side mount superchargers for my VS v8, from what I can gather the stock intake manifold is very restrictive in flow so can anyone recommend a different manifold apart from the star manifold? or is that the only performance single throttle body manifold available?

If it were me, I would run a single plane with a 4 barrel EFI throttle body.
Something like this.

You could look at having your manifold extrude honed and a bigger throttle body put on. Flow isn't necessarily as big of an issue when it comes to FI as you're forcing air into the manifold anyway.

depends what you want from the car daily driver fun weekender all out power

if its daily/street use ide keep the bananas for off boost torque and to get decient bottomend while waiting for boost.the bananas just dictate max power rpm potential if you dont want to rev it stay with stock

I didn't say it wasn't an issue, just not as big of an issue because it's not N/A. Otherwise I wouldn't have suggested extrude honing.
