manual in statesman...console ideas?

    hey guys, hopefully this weekend i should be buying my manual conversion :thumbsup: for my stato. just a few things. the kit doesnt come with a center console so i will most likely modify my stato one but before i go wrecking it i just wanna see what other people have done with the console and gear boot. my aim is to get mine looking kinda like the gts ones but with woodgrain instead of carbon fibre and i wanna have like a leather gear boot instead of the ugly rubber ones. I know im not the only one who has thought about it. so if anyone has pics or ideas it would be a awesome help because i kinda need some because i'll be getting a auto trimmer to do it for me so a diagram of what i want will really help him out. cheers:thumbsup:

    check out the GTS-R. they have a similar console. or else check out stealthys. im thinking of doing the same thing

    Mines out of a VS Senator or GTS (the guy i bought it from said senator)

    Its basically the same as a GTS/R one, but they have yellow 'sticking' i think.
    With a 5 speed, 1st and 2nd will rub on the left abit, but thats not really a problem. Or just get a 6 speed like i did ;)



    Good luck finding one, i've been looking for another one for my other VP, but been unsuccessful for years. Got offered $600 for mine, and declined.
