    A number of alternatives.

There are a number of alternatives, usually cheaper that replacing the dual mass flywheel and clutch.

When my clutch needed replacing at eight years old, I had the option of genuine items for $1,450, or changing to a solid flywheel and clutch at $1,100.

The downside to changing was that the solid flywheel and clutch were noisy according to the seller.

Try www.exedy.com.au as a starting point.

In the end, I stayed with the genuine item as $1,450 every eight years did not seem excessive to me.
